Join ISPE

Pharmaceutical science and manufacturing professionals worldwide know that the best way to advance their professional and technical proficiency is through ISPE Membership.

All Members may vote on matters pending before the Society, hold office, and serve on committees of the Society, local Chapter or Affiliate. All memberships are individual and not transferable.

How to Join

Individual Membership Categories and Dues*

Industry Member - US $215/€200
(deduct $40/€40 for renewals; continuous membership required to receive discount)

Regulatory Authority / Government Member - US $30 / €30

Applies to: Individuals enrolled full-time at a college, university, or other educational institution. Please attach proof of status. We realize circumstances occur when an individual may not be enrolled full-time as a student, however if the primary intention of the individual is education, student membership is allowed. Student Members will receive Member-only access to the ISPE Web site, but no hard copy of ISPE's publications.

Existing Student Members may extend their Student Membership for one year following graduation.

NOTE TO STUDENTS: Online joining is not available to students residing in an emerging economy country since they may receive a discount on dues through the local ISPE Affiliate. View the list of eligible countries. Please contact the local ISPE Affiliate/Chapter in your area for complete details.

Retired Emeritus Membership - US $0 / €0

If you have retired and have been an ISPE Member for five consecutive years or more, you may elect Retired Emeritus status by contacting ISPE. You’ll continue to receive the full benefits of the Active Member, free of charge. Annual renewal is required.

Loss of Employment
ISPE understands that there may be times when you are going through a job transition. When you are affected by this type of life change, you may qualify for ISPE’s Hardship Program to keep your membership active. Please contact Member Services Department at memberservices@ISPE.org.  

Your ISPE Membership is portable, so please remember to update your contact information either online or by contacting our office.

Extended Absences from the Industry – Freezing Your Membership
ISPE Members are permitted to “freeze” their membership to accommodate extended absences from the industry for reasons such as medical or maternity leave. Upon freezing your account, you will not receive membership benefits. Memberships may remain frozen indefinitely until you contact an ISPE office to unfreeze it. If you attend a Society event while your membership is “frozen,” the non-member fee will apply unless you unfreeze your membership. When you reactive your membership it will be at the renewal rate. A Member may have one frozen period per year.
